Introducing the Alsatian Triad -
the Finest Wines of Alsace

The result of extensive tastings and research, the Alsatian Triad represents the finest vineyards of Alsace. The incomparable wines we have selected provide a unique perspective of regional terroir from Mittelbergheim, Wangen, and Molsheim.

Northern Alsace, at the foot of the Vosges Mountains and nourished by the Rhine River, provides exceptional growing conditions. Protected from oceanic influence, the "Bas-Rhin" also enjoys the lowest rainfall totals in France. This sunny, hot and dry combination of environmental factors permits a slow, extended ripening. Further influenced by the chalk, sandstone, and limestone soil compositions, the region's vines produce elegant and complex wines.

Exploited by the Romans, this region has been renowned for centuries. Surviving wars and occupation, the region was awarded AOC status in 1962. Alsace has since been awarded two further appellations: AOC Alsace Grand Cru in 1975 and AOC Crémant d'Alsace in 1976.
